A Terranovus.net DSL account requires pre-qualification of your existing telephone line. Line quality and distance is checked, and a determination of available speed is made. You will also need a specific piece of equipment known as a DSL modem or router, which connects between your computer and the DSL line.

You can purchase the DSL modem or router from us directly or provide your own, as long as it meets our connectivity requirements***. Our DSL modem comes in a complete self-installation kit with all the software, cables, and filters required to get you set up in no time.

We feature two high performance DSL equipment solutions for your home. The first is a high performance router with an embedded PPPoE client, as well as an integrated firewall and NAT. The router has both a 10/100 ethernet and USB interface to easily connect to your computer. The DSL router is engineered for networked environments with the ability to run up to 254 networked computers.

Since most home environments do not have demanding networked needs, we offer lower cost DSL modem alternative. Our DSL modem is an easy to use plug and play device for use on Windows XP and MacOS X systems with a 10/100 ethernet connection.
